On Christmas Day, Frank Murray’s Turf Irish Pub will open from 4:00 pm until close. We will be open for business as usual on Monday, December 26, 2011.

Join Frank Murray’s Turf Irish Pub as we ring in 2012! We'll have live music by the Aaron Ricker band plus lots of great drink specials and a champagne toast at midnight! There’s no cover charge for the event – just a great time ringing in the New Year with your friends.

On Thanksgiving Day, Frank Murray’s Turf Irish Pub will open from 4:00 pm until close and will be serving a set menu, including Fish ‘n Chips and Shepherd’s Pie.

We will be open for business as usual on Friday, November 25, 2011.

In honor of Turf’s co-founder, Frank Murray, we are revising our name to “Frank Murray’s Turf.” As many of you know, Frank was a visionary for downtown Phoenix, where he and Andrew purchased Seamus McCaffrey’s after working there for years. And in 2009, the pair went on to open the Turf Irish Pub.



Frank is a legend who will live in our hearts (and our ale) for generations to come! Slaintè Frank!

We raise a pint in honor of Frank Murray, a great man who passed away this week.



Frank, a Korean War veteran, moved to Arizona in 1954 and managed a cotton gin in the West Valley during the day while tending bar at night. For over 50 years, Frank was in the bar business in some way, shape, or form.
